Dr. Klopsch is a Spokane native who attended Whitworth University, where he met his wife. He earned a Master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry at WSU and taught high school science at Shadle Park High School. He attended medical school at Loma Linda University in southern California and is excited to be back in Spokane. He enjoys spending time with his family, cheering on his two kids at their events, camping, rock climbing, skiing (water and snow) and fishing.
Rachael Massoud, DO
Dr. Massoud was born and raised in Spokane, leaving the comfort of home to do her undergraduate work at the University of Portland. After some time in diabetes research, she then attended medical school at Western University of Health Sciences in Lebanon, Oregon. Rachael is excited to be back home with family for her residency and even more excited to have found family medicine as a specialty.
Ryan Massoud, DO
Dr. Massoud was raised in Sacramento, California. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Portland and his medical school training at Western University of Health Sciences. Ryan is married to a Spokane native and is excited to explore everything eastern Washington has to offer. Ryan is an avid sports fan. When he isn’t watching sports he enjoys playing golf, frisbee golf, tennis, and basketball.
Kyle Rattray, MD, Rural Training Track
Dr. Rattray is an eastern Washington native, growing up on his family’s farm in Sunnyside. He attended college at MIT in Boston, then worked odd jobs and as a Peace Corps volunteer overseas. He attended medical school at the University of Washington and is excited to be training in what he considers to be the best region in the world. When not practicing medicine he is an avid distance runner, cyclist, climber, skier and cook.
Lindsey Ruppel, DO
Dr. Ruppel grew up in Coeur d’Alene, ID. She completed her undergraduate degree at University of Idaho and her medical school training at Pacific Northwest University in Yakima, Washington. She enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter outdoors hiking, camping, skiing and, of course, huckleberry picking. She also enjoys baking delicious treats and playing piano.
Douglas Tanner, DO
Dr. Tanner was raised in northern Utah. He completed a BS in Chemistry at Utah State University and a doctorate in biochemistry at Brigham Young University. After seven years of laboratory research, he moved his young family to Oregon and attended the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific. He is thrilled to be in the Northwest and excited to get his family out to enjoy the mountains, lakes and rivers in this beautiful region.
Jackelin Tran, DO
Dr. Tran was born in Vietnam and moved at a young age to the Seattle area with her family. She followed in her siblings’ footsteps and attended the University of Washington (Go Dawgs!) where she studied Environmental Health and completed a Master’s degree in Exposure Science. She moved to Yakima to complete her medical degree at Pacific Northwest University. You can find her dining out at local restaurants, snapping photos of food, paddle boarding on a lake or skiing the slopes.
Peter Wehr, MD
Dr. Wehr was born and raised in Grinnell, Iowa. He completed his undergraduate studies in Biology and Spanish at Luther College and graduated from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. He is thrilled to be in Spokane for his residency training. When he’s not caring for his patients, Dr. Wehr enjoys exploring the world with his amazing partner, Lisa, pursuing the great outdoors, listening to music and spending quality time with family and friends.
Justin Woods, MD
Dr. Woods was born in the African nation of Malawi and grew up in Idaho and Oregon before heading to Lincoln, Nebraska for college. He received a degree in International Rescue and Relief, then he headed to southern California for medical school at Loma Linda University. He and his wife are excited to be back in Spokane to complete his residency. After completing his residency Dr. Woods and his wife plan on becoming involved in global health in developing countries around the world. When not working he and his wife enjoy adventuring by backpacking, skiing and traveling to new places.
